Paintings: Oil, acrylic, watercolor. Pastel, tempera, gouache, encaustic, fresco, collage and mixed media
Prints: Relief, intaglio, mezzotint, lithograph, serigraph, mono print, and mixed media print
Drawings: graphite, colored pencil, silverpoint, and conte
Guidelines
• Student artists of all ages who are currently enrolled in Tacoma schools are welcome.
• No registration fee.
• Artists may enter up to 3 pieces of art in each category. It is first come, first serve. Art work will be accepted, starting 10/1/2010. We will stop accepting artwork when the display area is full.
• All entries must be for sale.
• 20% commission will be collected on all sales.
• All works must be originally created by the artist.
• No copies, derivatives or reproductions are allowed.
• We may retain and use digital images of accepted work for promotional purposes.
• We reserve the right to not show any artwork that we deem not appropriate for the Gallery.
Framing size and requirements
• Framing is desirable.
• Finished work must not exceed 70 inches total of height plus length and ready to hang.
• Canvases must be framed or gallery-wrap, i.e., edges finished/painted.
Liability
Green Spot Tea House and Gallery, ArtPlus and their agents assume no responsibility for lost or damaged articles; however, every precaution will be taken to prevent such occurrences.
Calendar
• Show date, 10/1 to 12/1/2010
• Submit original art works during business hours at:
3318 Bridgeport Way W. #B, University Place, WA 98466
• Reception and celebration, 10/9/2010.
• 11/30/2010, pick up unsold artworks.
